Your Executive Résumés consultant will be contracted to your project with specific experience preparing career marketing documents in your chosen industry, offering recruitment knowledge and copywriting experience to ensure that your résumé gets you the attention you desire. Executive Résumés consultants use their advanced knowledge of what employers and recruitment agencies are looking for on your résumé to prepare documents for you that will highlight your individual skills, experience and achievements. It is vitally important that your résumé matches the needs of both employers and recruitment agencies - your résumé must make them want to interview you. Our professional résumé writers create polished, corporate and graphically designed résumé layouts, which are clear, uncluttered and professional which allows a recruitment consultant or employer to quickly find the information on your résumé that they need. If they cannot find what they want, your résumé may not be considered further. We successfully achieve a balance of professionalism, individuality, creativity and marketing flair.

You are consulted at every stage which ensures that you are satisfied with your documents and the customer service that you receive from Executive Résumés. Your satisfaction is very important to us, we want you to tell your friends, colleagues and family of how pleased you were with the résumé services that you received whilst partnering with Executive Résumés. Your résumé and other documents will be emailed to you so that you can review and make changes required. Your documents will then be updated with the changes that you require and then sent back to you again. We may select not to accept your order for any reason. We reserve the right to withdraw any goods/services at any time. All prices are subject to change at any time prior to an order being placed and are subject to change without notice. We will not be liable to you or anyone else for refusing to accept your order, withdrawing any goods/services, or changing any prices. We retain the right to revoke your right to continued use of our services at our discretion.

In no event shall Executive Resumes be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential damages, or any damages whatsoever, including, without limitation, damages for loss of use, data, lost opportunities, arising out of or in any way connected with the use or performance of our services. Under no circumstances will Executive Resumes be held liable for any delay or failure in performance resulting directly or indirectly from acts of nature, forces, or causes beyond its reasonable control, including without limitation, incorrect email addresses, internet failures, computer equipment failures, other equipment failures, or non-performance of third parties.

Our Terms and Conditions and subsequent agreements are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the law of the State of Victoria, Australia without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of laws. You, the Client agree to the jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria to determine any dispute arising out of this Agreement.

When purchasing a résumé package from Executive Résumés your financial details are passed through a secure server using the latest 128-bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology. 128-bit SSL encryption is the current industry standard. Refund Policy

Please choose carefully as we do not provide refunds if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision. Once your order has been received, we commence work and no refunds or cancellations will be accepted. If you require clarification regarding résumé package inclusions, pricing information or the most suitable product to suit your needs, simply call on 1300-944-045 or email us on [email protected] prior to making payment. If you have any issues with quality or satisfaction, we welcome an email at [email protected] to gain an insight into your thoughts and experiences. The documents we prepare for you such as cover letters, résumés and key selection criteria are based on a combination of information received by you and our understanding of your needs and requirements. Hence, the information gathering stage and your availability to respond to questions throughout all projects within time frames is crucial. Credits can be issued if for example you order a gold package that includes 2 applications and you only have 1 job advertisement of interest upon ordering, your résumé writer will make a note on our computer system that are still in 'credit' to have a second application prepared at a later stage, when a position of interest becomes available. There is no expiry date, therefore you can use anytime in the future. However credits cannot be refunded and form part of an already discounted package.

What is the Executive Resumes procedure?

You commence by emailing us your existing résumé together with an advertisement that is indicative of your target position. We will call or email you with an assessment and exact quotation (see our “resume packages” online for pricing and choose from our Bronze, Silver and Gold Package). If you do not have an existing résumé, please request and complete our “Resume Form” detailing your work history, education, referees etc. We then review the information that you have provided and arrange a phone appointment to consult and communicate with you regarding any further information required and to ask you questions regarding your career objective and positions of interest.

What is the expected turnaround time for a resume?

We generally prepare résumés in 7-10 working days, by mutual agreement between the client and resume writer. If you require an express service, we charge a $100 fee to produce your documents within 72 hours from ordering upon client request - which is perfect for that all important job application that closes tomorrow! 

Once you have received a final draft in Word and PDF format, you may review the documents and provide any comments or feedback for editing. Once your feedback and clarification has been is received, the changes are generally made within 24 hours and emailed back to you as final documents - ready to use.

Do I need more than one resume if I am applying for various types of jobs?

This really depends on how different the positions of interest are. Your résumé writer can certainly prepare 2 or 3 different versions if needed, this is often useful for clients work in a trade such as Electrician who would like a resume and cover letter for both general industry and also jobs in the Australian Government.  Alternatively, within the Australian Government you may be pursing two jobs types i.e. driving roles such as Operations Management and Project Management… in this case two different resumes and cover letters would be created for you and these are included in our Gold Government Resume Package.

I am really busy, can you prepare my resume without a face to face appointment?

Most certainly! Our Government Resume Writers have been preparing resume long distance/remotely since 1995. To assist us in the accurate and efficient gathering of your information, we utilise a questionnaire, together with a thorough phone consultation with you at a time that suits you.  We also request that clients fax or email through any existing documents such as old or current résumé, references, job descriptions, certificates and job advertisements. A majority of the process is coordinated efficiently via email.

There is a great deal of internet research and strategising involved in the development of a resume as well as the specialised expertise that Government Resumes has which is reflected in our prices. The knowledge our skilled personnel impart in each and every project, have taken many years to perfect and we pride ourselves as industry leaders in the government resume industry.
